Adamsons Peak
The perfect way to spend a Sunday, exploring the great outdoors with both a ride and run. Our ride portion of this trip will incorporate a scenic route into Esperance River Forest to the beginning of the Adamsons Peak track where we will lace up our shoes and go for a trot to bag Adamsons Peak. Please keep in mind that this track is on the harder side. Whether you choose to walk or run we will be turning around at the 2hr mark. Food and full support will be provided.
This ride is doable on any bike. A CX bike with ~40mm tyres would be the 'ideal' bike for the bike leg of this trip, however any bike from a road bike with fatter tyres to a MTB is achievable.
Ride Details: 38km, 700m elevation
Run/Walk Details: We will all be turning around at the 2hr mark.
Technical Difficulty: The ride portion of this adventure is on the moderate side. Some well maintained forestry roads with a bit of up and down along the way. The run/walk is difficult. Adamsons Peak is quite steep and not well maintained in parts. The total peak distance is 15km with 1,200m of elevation!
** This experience may be challenging for some but will deliver memories that will stick with you forever. We welcome riders, runners and walkers of all abilities and will cater our itinerary on the day to suit the weather and our guests.
We have designed the route and are here to support you throughout the day with a support vehicle to carry all of your additional gear and any other food or mechanical support you may need along the way. As with any of our trips, we are also big believers of capturing our adventures to share with friends and family!
All you need to do is bring your bike, cycling and running gear, everything else is done for you. All of our routes are designed to be achievable with all bikes, however gravel/CX bikes are usually the most suitable bikes for completing this trip.
