What's On: Weekly Rides, Seasonal Trips & More

Community rides and events are the heartbeat of Eudaimonia. Here’s what you can expect:

Weekly Social Rides
Join us every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday for community rides of varying abilities. Open to all fitness levels.

Monthly Women’s and Queer specific rides
We saw the need to create a specific space for minority groups such as women and the queer community… so we created one! We run each of these rides once per month.

Seasonal Bikepacking Trips
Longer-form, soul-filling overnighters. We'll handle the logistics — you bring the spirit of adventure.

Pop-up Events & Workshops
From wellness sessions to mechanic nights and community panels — Eudaimonia is more than a ride club.

These experiences are open to all, but Identity members receive first access, special pricing, and exclusive events.

Wednesday - Mount Nelson

Join us every Wednesday for a ride to watch the sunrise at the top of Mount Nelson. This ride goes straight up and down a hill, so is not for the faint hearted, however it is a great ride to get those climbing legs into gear!

When: Every Wednesday at 6am

Where: Bob and Tom’s Servo (corner of Hampden and Sandy Bay rd)

Who: Riders who want a bit more of a challenge.

What: We have three regroup points at the top of Churchill ave, the top of Mount Nelson Bends and at the Mount Nelson lookout for a compulsory sunrise photo. We usually average 22 - 25km/h, however please note this route is quite hilly. Then we’ll head back down to coffee at Area2B.

Thursday - Kingston

Join us every Thursday for an inclusive ride into Kingston and back. This ride is great for learning how to ride in a bunch while simultaneously pushing your limits a little bit further.

When: Every Thursday at 6am and 6:10am

Where: Bob and Tom’s Servo (corner of Hampden and Sandy Bay rd)

Who: Riders of all abilities.

What: We have created two start times for this ride depending on your ability. The 6am start time averages around 22 - 25km/h, while the 6:10am start time averages 25 - 28km/h. The ride is designed this way so all riders end up at the coffee shop together - or possibly the slower riders get a tow in from the faster group.

Women’s Friday’s

After so much success from our monthly Girl Gang rides, we have finally created a weekly ride to keep more women engaged on a regular basis! This ride is chill and all about the chats along the way.

When: Every Friday at 6:30am

Where: Bob and Tom’s Servo (corner of Hampden and Sandy Bay rd)

Who: Women of all abilities.

What: We have designed this ride to engage and create a space for female cyclists on a more regular basis. Join us for chats, pedals and coffee!

Monthly & Quarterly Rides

Girl Gang Saturday (Monthly)

On the last Saturday of each month, we run a monthly Girl Gang ride to help women get into cycling, keep them riding bikes and just generally build community. We usually head to Kingston and back to keep the ride inclusive, however occasionally add other rides if there is desire to do so.

When: Last Saturday of each month at 8am

Where: Bob and Tom’s Servo (corner of Hampden and Sandy Bay rd)

Who: Women of all abilities.

What: We have designed this ride to help women gain more confidence on the road and meet more female cyclists in the hope we can further forge connection and friendship within our community.

Queer Rides (Monthly)

We are so excited to be bridging the gap and creating an inclusive environment with our addition of our Queer Rides! We run these on the second Sunday of each month. These rides are more chill, less lycra focused and just about fostering community and creativity!

When: Second Sunday of each month

Where: Bob and Tom’s Servo (corner of Hampden and Sandy Bay rd)

Who: Queer folk and allies of all abilities.

What: We felt like there was a missing space in the riding and queer community, so wanted to help bridge the gap between the two. Our queer rides are designed as a safe space for all. They are focused more on exploring the back roads and going for an adventure rather than focusing on distance or getting anywhere in particular.

Bikepacking Trips (Quarterly)

Our quarterly bikepacking trips are very chill and just a way to engage with our community. Whether you’re new to bikepacking and want the support of others to feel comfortable to explore on your own, or a seasoned bikepacker, we want to create a space to get likeminded people together and explore our backyard in a relaxed and supported environment.

When: Once every three months

Where: Location will change each trip

Who: Riders of all abilities!

What: A casual bikepacking trip for people of all abilities. We will set the route and location. Sometimes there will be an option of either camping or paid accommodation to keep things accessible to a greater number of people.
