Mount Field expedition
The perfect way to spend a Sunday, exploring the great outdoors with both a ride and run/walk. Our ride portion of this trip will incorporate mountain climb up Mount Field into Lake Dobson. From there we will lace up our shoes and go for a trot (or a walk). For those that are running, we will be heading West into Mount Field West and for those who feel less confident or simply want to enjoy a walk, we will be walking the Tarn Shelf. Food and full support will be provided. This ride is doable on any bike. A CX bike with ~40mm tyres would be the 'ideal' bike for the bike leg of this trip, however any bike from a road bike to a MTB is achievable.
We have designed the route and are here to support you throughout the day with a support vehicle to carry all of your additional gear and any other food or mechanical support you may need along the way. As with any of our trips, we are also big believers of capturing our adventures to share with friends and family!
All you need to do is bring your bike, cycling and running gear, everything else is done for you. All of our routes are designed to be achievable with all bikes, however gravel/CX bikes are usually the most suitable bikes for completing this trip.
