Every tour we undertake is special in its own right.
As such we like to reflect upon the tour that was.
We started our weekend with a trip up to the Central Highlands.
Fun Fact: Liawenee is the coldest permanently inhabited place in Australia. With a population of 3… all of which being men and one of which being a police officer. Apparently the tinder options are pretty scarce up here.
Day 2
Day 2 started off pretty damn well the second we made the turn off toward Mount Roland. Just look at that beauty!
It was potentially at this point when a few of the participants were cursing me. We had ridden some pretty descent hills… what can I say? This is Tassie.
But moods quickly perked up by the time we hit Ghost Rock. Seriously, if you haven’t visited this place, you should really add it to the list.
Day 3
After (not much) negotiating, everyone opted for the shortened option for our final day of the trip. We had a bit of a sleep in, drove to Deloraine, then rode (half) a mountain, a little bit of dirt and whole lot of country side. We then ended our day, and our weekend, at the world heritage convict property that is Woolmers Estate. And in case you weren’t aware, they have revamped their dining experience which is worth the visit.
Once again, thank you so much to everyone that came along!
