Every tour we undertake is special in its own right.
As such we like to reflect upon the tour that was.
One thing I love about the R&R adventures is seeing how much we are able to fit into one day (while still enjoying our surroundings). There’s a classic Tassie mentality that we can’t drive 20mins out of Hobart unless we make a whole weekend out of it! Don’t get me wrong, there are circumstances that is necessary, but this series allows us to fit one hell of an adventure into one day.
We started our day with a drive down to Dover. We had a nice relaxing start to the day with coffee and a whole lot of laughter as we prepare for the day ahead.
24km of Forestry road and then we hit our walk/run destination for the trip.
There were plenty of giggles and mud to prove we just had one hell of a time.
Then it was back on the bikes and back into Dover.
Our day didn’t quite end there… we also had a little stop over at the Little Black Fridge. A fridge sitting outside a local Geeveston resident’s house filled with local goodies!
