  • A wild and beautiful climb into Tasmania’s Central Highlands. You'll ride past windswept lakes and dramatic skies, finishing with local wine and fireside comfort at Thousand Lakes Lodge

    Distance: 138km | Elevation: 1,820m

  • Descend from the highlands to lush farmland and waterfalls. We end at the beautiful and unsuspecting Arcoona Manor.

    Distance: 116km | Elevation: 2,600m

  • A full day to relax and explore Cradle Mountain. Choose from hiking, journaling, wildlife spotting or simply sleeping in. A quiet moment in the middle of a big ride. Treat yourself to a slower pace and a deeper exhale.

  • Distance: 120km | Elevation: 1,800m

  • We wind our way through quiet lanes and farming country all the way to our favourite cellar door, Ghost Rock Wineries. Enjoy our local lunch stop then an afternoon drive into Tasmania’s second-largest city.

    Distance: 83km | Elevation: 1,000m

  • Scenic climbs, secret cafes, and a rolling descent into the MTB mecca of Derby.

    🛏️ Tin Mountain Lodge | 🍝 Dinner at The Hub | 💦 Tomorrow: floating sauna experience

    Distance: 160km | Elevation: 2,800m

  • Start the day with a floating sauna recovery session on the lake. Then it’s up to you whether you would like to hire a MTB in one of the world’s best mountain bike parks! We recommend you give it a go!

    Distance: 120km Elevation: 1,250m

  • Today, we begin in the diverse mountains of the North-East Highlands before hitting the coastal region that is St Helen’s. From there, it is straight to the beach to put our feet up for the rest of the afternoon.

  • One of the flattest and most scenic rides on the East Coast of Tasmania, we follow the coastline all day before stopping in the famous area that is Coles Bay, ready for our final day tomorrow.

Group size & pace

We accommodate mixed abilities — this is a self guided tour, so there is no pressure to ride with others or at any particular pace. You do you!

Accommodation & food

While we primarily use boutique/luxury properties this tour is at a mid level price point. The per‑night accommodation average is $300–$400 including breakfasts. Riders should budget for their own lunches, dinners and additional incidentals.

Bike support & luggage

  • Daily luggage transfers so you ride light

  • On‑road support vehicle with basic mechanicals and roadside assistance

  • Full mechanical support available for a surcharge or if pre‑booked

Transfers & logistics

  • Pick‑up options from Hobart (fees may apply)

  • Airport drop at the end of the tour — ask for pricing

  • Not at all. This tour is designed for strong intermediate riders who are comfortable with multi-day rides. It's fully supported, with plenty of time for stops, chats, and snacks.

  • All accommodation, meals, snacks, luggage transfers, support vehicle, a custom Eudaimonia x Palawa kit (if booking early), sauna sessions, and local experiences. You just bring your bike and your adventurous spirit.

  • Absolutely. If you’re not bringing your own bike, let us know during booking and we’ll arrange high-quality rentals suited to the terrain.
