A Different Side of Tasmania
This tour is unlike anything else we offer.
Where the east and highlands feel open and expansive, the west coast is dense, wild, and remote. The roads are quieter, the landscapes more dramatic, and the experience more immersive.
This isn’t just a ride — it’s an expedition into Tasmania’s last true wilderness.
For Riders Wanting More
This tour is ideal for:
Riders who have completed the Tasmania Gravel Crossing and want to continue
Those seeking a shorter, more remote adventure
Returning guests wanting a completely different Tasmanian experience
It stands alone — but becomes even more powerful when added to the full journey.
Into the Wild West
Starting in Tasmania’s northwest, this journey takes you deep into Takayna/Tarkine — one of the largest temperate rainforests in the world.
You’ll ride through ancient forest, along remote gravel roads, and into places that feel untouched by time.
Ride along the Arthur River
Stay in the remote outpost of Corrina
Explore by both bike and boat
Finish in the dramatic mining town of Queenstown
Fewer people. Less noise. More Tasmania.
