Some variation of a channel loop is our absolute favourite. This loop is the loop that made us fall in love with riding and led us to eventually living in Cygnet, where we reside now. We’re often considered bias, but we think this loop has a beautiful combo of tree lines, flowing roads and, very importantly, our favourite bakery!

How Long is this ride?

This ride is 112km in distance, however like most of our rides, has its fair share of hills.

Difficulty

All rides are designed to showcase some of our favourite parts of our doorstep, which generally involves a number of hills. As such we recommend you have some form of bike experience to give these rides a go… and come with your best climbing legs (or at least a good attitude).

We recommend you feel pretty comfortable riding 100kms before embarking on this ride as it is quite hilly. You get all of the long hills out of the way with in the first half of the ride, but it is the constant up and down of the back end of the ride that really adds up.

Suggested Finish Locations:

Coffee: It is compulsory to make a stop at Poolish and co in Cygnet!

Alcohol, beers and burgers: Willie Smiths or Pagan Cider is a great place to stop enroute if you’re not afraid of a little bit of alcohol in the system.
